HumanConcepts Names Nexient Learning as First Training Provider in Canada
Nexient to provide training for OrgPlus Software in 14 locations coast-to-coast
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

Halifax, Nova Scotia - August 30, 2006 - Nexient Learning Inc. (TSX: NXN) formerly CrossOff Incorporated and parent company of Polar Bear Corporate Education Solutions / CDI Education, today announced it has signed an agreement with HumanConcepts, the leading provider of workforce modeling and intelligence solutions, to become the first HumanConcepts Training Provider for OrgPlus Software in Canada. Nexient will provide certified training programs in 14 locations across Canada – from Halifax to Vancouver.

Based in Sausalito, California, HumanConcepts was experiencing growing demand for OrgPlus software training from Canadian customers, but wanted to eliminate their need to travel to receive proper training. As a result, HumanConcepts needed a Canadian partner who could help them meet customer demand. With 29 locations across the country, HumanConcepts chose Nexient Learning as its first partner to provide comprehensive in-class and online learning programs to the Canadian market for the entire OrgPlus suite of products.

“With the biggest reach in Canada, combined with industry leading content and instructors, Nexient Learning was the obvious choice as a training partner,” said Heather Huston, Director of International Sales. “Through Nexient, our Canadian customers will now have access to hands-on training and e-learning programs, as well as the highest quality technical expertise.”

As one of the industry’s premiere organizational charting and workforce modeling solutions, OrgPlus offers users the benefit of an enterprise-wide organizational view that improves a company’s ability to manage change, regulatory compliance, succession planning and recruitment in today’s competitive environment. Used by 400 of Fortune 500 companies to chart millions of employees worldwide, OrgPlus 6 allows users to create professional-looking organizational charts quickly and easily, reducing time and money spent creating and distributing critical HR information throughout the company.

“Business is never static and companies need tools to help manage change effectively. With OrgPlus, companies can visually understand what’s happening now and strategize for a successful future,” said Colleen Moorehead, President and CEO Nexient Learning Inc. “We listen to what our customers want, and that’s what we’re delivering through this partnership with HumanConcepts. Canadian companies will now be able to train locally on OrgPlus and acquire the knowledge they need to grow and compete.”
