Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards honour Microsoft’s top Canadian technology partners
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

Sydney, Nova Scotia – November 7, 2006 - Nexient Learning Inc. (TSX:NXN), Canada’s largest corporate training company, announced today that it has been named the Learning Solutions Partner of the Year at the 2006 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. Announced at a gala event in Toronto on November 2, 2006, the annual IMPACT awards recognize excellence within the Canadian technology partner community and the innovative solutions and value they bring to their customers.

“Each year we present the IMPACT Awards as an opportunity to celebrate top technology partners who have shown true dedication through their tremendous technical support and customer service,” said Lora Gernon, Director of Partner Group, Microsoft Canada Co. “This achievement further demonstrates Nexient Learning’s commitment to delivering high quality, fully integrated Microsoft-based technologies to its customers, and we are proud to recognize Nexient Learning as a recipient of the 2006 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Award.”

Building on its proven track record for creating top calibre learning programs, Nexient partnered with Microsoft Learning to develop a Synchronous Distance Learning Program called Microsoft Official Distance Learning (MODL). By integrating leading edge technology such as Live Meeting with the highest professional education standards for distance learning, the MODL program provides students with a hands-on learning experience and real-time interaction with the instructor and other participants, right at their desk.

“As Microsoft’s largest certified training partner in Canada and fourth largest worldwide, we are thrilled to receive this recognition for this program,” said Colleen Moorehead, President & CEO of Nexient Learning. “Through innovative programs like MODL, we are providing flexible learning programs designed to support individual, team and organizational needs and equip employees with the skills they need to stay ahead of the curve.”
