XML is a technology that is not only changing the way we create and use software, but is changing the way we do business. Participants will learn the basics of XML and will investigate its impact on business processes. Through group exercises and facilitated discussion, participants will create their own XML documents and will create an XML action plan reflecting their own business interests.
Target Student
This course is intended for business professionals - managers, senior managers, directors and executives - that are responsible for the management of information, relationships, technology or human resources. Individual contributors are also welcome to attend, but will find the seminar more useful if they have had exposure to one of the listed management disciplines.
Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this course, however participants are expected to have some exposure to business processes. Experience with HTML, data modeling, process modeling, or object orientation are all assets, but are not required
